What am I doing now?

From my home in Melbourne, Australia. It's winter right now, and it's colder than the past few winters.

You could tell when cats huddle together - especially when they don't normally do that. Check out the picture of my cats during this winter at the bottom of this page.

Working at Altus - As a Senior Product Manager.

Started writing on the internet: I have started posting daily on LinkedIn and also starting to spend a bit more time on my blog. It's more writing about things I care about and I believe others do too - in the deep recesses of their minds and likely not articulated. In the process, I hoped to spark conversations and change the hearts and minds of people reading those posts.

And it's less about the numbers or metrics that visited the posts - I know it's easy to say, hard to practice. I do still look at the numbers and who wouldn't? But I am not going to let that distract me from my initial purpose.

Holidays - Finally travelled a bit around Australia. Went to Adelaide twice last year and then Tasmania and Cairns last 2 months. Absolutely loved it.

The best thing was visiting Geelong for a night stayover last week - great city, great people.

Staying active - Recently picked up Pilates again. It has been 2 years since I was doing Pilates - to be exact Hot Pilates and Yoga flow. Always great to work up the heart rate and sweat as it's now in the thick of Winter in Australia.

Reading - Just read Blink (The Power of Thinking Without Thinking) by Malcolm Gladwell. He talks about snap judgement and how that is everywhere in our lives. The real lesson of this book is not just about the hidden recess of the unconscious - it's more about once we know about how the mind works, and about the strengths and weakness of judgement - it's our responsibility to act.

First time seeing the three cats huddle all together. I guess that tells you about the cold.
